INHABIT QUEEN'S GARDENS REVIEW:
We came across this hotel when looking for somewhere that would tick the following boxes:
- Not too expensive, but still in a good location
- Cute interiors
- Suitable for a trip with parents
Inhabit, Queen’s Gardens is, simply put, a very solid London hotel. The Scandi-centric design, earthy tones of the decor and use of natural materials throughout the hotel create a calming, modern feel. There is a clear focus on sustainability and wellness (the hotel is certified B Corp and Green Key), and it’s clear a lot of thought has been put into this; the hotel is plastic-free, meat free, uses local and green suppliers, recycles as much as possible (and anything left over goes into energy recovery) and uses sustainable materials throughout. The subterranean wellness center offers yoga, pilates and meditation, and a Spa offering a full range of treatments - to mention but a few! The hotel also partners with artists and social enterprises to help support the local community. The rooms are airy and bright (if a tad small - but hey, it’s London), with great smelling toiletries and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant was okay - we were a little bit disappointed with the vegan cooked breakfast, but admittedly didn’t try lunch or dinner. Service generally was good and flexible - we were able to check in early and check out a bit later the next day. Overall, our experience at this hotel exceeded our expectations and for this price point, we would certainly come back if in need of a mid-range, overnight stay in central London.
